Tile Time

The pace is definitely picking up. The tile guys have painted the waterproofing onto the concrete of the first floor bathrooms and screwed down the fiber board in the kitchen and foyer; the kitchen tile is scheduled to go down on Monday. Once that is down, the kitchen cabinets can be installed.

The cherry flooring is at 12% moisture and should begin to get nailed down upstairs next week.

The refrigerator will arrive on Monday and the faux-bluestone veneer is supposed to get glued to the front porch slab on Tuesday. It also looks as though Tuesday will be the day that the Air Conditioning comes to life.

Lastly, we have a new roofer lined up from Ziegler Metal Roofing that will be starting in the not too distant future.

The kitchen's porcelain tile will be laid in three different sizes

The RauPanel in the kitchen is covered with fiberboard which will be covered in tile shortly

The pantry and fridge nook is ready as well

The entryway will get a slate floor

The fiberboard has completely eliminated the RauPanel squeak

Kattrina and Brian's bathroom gets the blue waterproofing

It matches the blue of Scott's bathroom nicely
